First up, I need to apologize to my babyblog. I’m sorry that I’ve neglected you for the past 9 months. I’ve been way too busy to blog.

The working life is pretty good.. you get paid doing what you love doing. That’s a great plus point.. on the other hand, working in this industry has it’s downside too. Your love life gets tumbled up too.. it gets messy and it’s unsightly. Distance is such a pain in the arse. Get a mixing bowl.. and try mixing in distance, my industry, distance, other responsibilities, heavy workload, time differences – what a dough! It’s not for the weak stomached. I guess this obstacle will eventually make the relationship alot stronger.. <3

We’ve been to Rome.. London was the next best thing. Andrew stays at Westminister, near the Embankment River. The view from his “palace” is truly a sight not to be missed. haha.. Big Ben when you wake up, the red double-decker buses go rolling past that my mom fondly speak of when I was a little girl. Now I understand why mom loves London. London is a dream haven.

The phone booth! ta-da! yes.. it has always been a fantasy of mine! And the other? Chinese takeaway in the white authentic “chinese” carton box! I got both my fantasies in one night. Bliss.

Why is London such a haven? Theater… the musicals.. Ballet.. Opera. It’s BRILLIANT! Only had time to catch two. A play and a musical, which are…

The Woman in Black was spine-chillingly terrifying but a very good production. It is said to be the scariest theater show in London. Nice. Now I know why.

Wicked – yippeyiyi! Always wanted to catch this one. Also : Miss Saigon, Jesus Christ Superstar, Cats, Les Miserables, Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat, Oilver (Rowan Atkinson is in the one now), The Sound of Music, We will rock you…. all of these. Ah always next time. The Summer HOLS! Yes! The cast – TERRIFIC! Now you’re wondering why my words are so green in this post! I’m wicked-fied!

After having the best DUCK RICE in Chinatown with the love and Andrew. We headed to Leceister Sq. for some fun! DODGEM’S or as we call it in other parts of the world, BUMPER CARS! wee.. (my first time hey!) Thanks Drew for such lovely photography skills

Back home in Shef.. we celebrated Sherve’s birthday at Pizza Express (that wasn’t express at all) before she headed off to KL you’re BAD woman! She just turned 21! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABES!

28 days with you

The two nights and three days that the both of us spent in Rome was marvelous. I tremble with ecstasy thinking about the places we’ve visited. The Vatican City is by far the most beautiful.. St. Peter’s Basilica, Sistine Chapel – Paintings of the great Michael Angelo, The tomb of our dear popes and so on. One must go and inhale the air of the Vatican City to understand. Rome is a gorgeous city. Music fill your ears.. even riding on the tube one can hear the cacophony harmonious music and laughter coming from street musicians. The lover and I had the most romantic dinner in a gorgeous, brilliantly lit street italian restaurant for lovers venturing in Rome after having a stroll at the Fontana Di Trevi (Fountain of Trevi).

The Colosseum was our first stop as the lover couldn’t control himself – we watched The Gladiator a couple of days before we departed for Rome. We went back for a night shot as well. He insisted. haha

Unfortunately, pictures are not allowed to be taken in the Sistine Chapel. Have a google on it. Such intricate paintings, a persuasion of love and art combined. I was in awe. (A privilege to have such “enchanted beauty” in our lives is somewhat blissful).

With love from Roma! Do learn some sentences before heading there. I’ve got one… Dove si trova? …where is?.. haha that might help..a lil.

our winter, our december.

Finally, I’m here. 18 hours flight, a stop at Doha and into the arms of my baby at Manchester Airport and then a train ride to Sheffield. It felt fantastic – I’m home.

First stop:

6 days passed. We’ve done a bit of sight seeing around Shef – visited his university, few friends. Shopping is heaven! Bought two pair of boots, a winter russian like jacket from Zara, some stuffs from H&M. What I’m really waiting for? Boxing day sale!! Yesiree!
